While cruising on Voyager of the Seas, I noticed at the trivia games, there were no prizes for the winners. My dad and I played on a team during the Rock Hits trivia and we ended up winning, but we didn't receive a prize. I personally don't like this change because I feel that there should be some kind of award for winning trivia, even if it is just a key chain or highlighter. This was vastly different than Giovanni’s when there were only about 15 of us dining. My personal favorite was A Taste of Italy because I love Italian food, including arancini, lasagna, and tiramisu.

Waterslides
At the time it entered service, Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas was the largest cruise liner in the world, heralded as the most revolutionary ship ever built. While Adventure of the Seas has not undergone a full amplification process, she does have a few features that are usually only seen on newer or amplified ships. The Perfect Storm waterslides and Splashaway Bay were added in 2016, which offer more fun for both kids and adults onboard. All Voyager Class ships have both a rock climbing wall, FlowRider surf simulator, and mini golf. Each ship has a Sports Court as well, where games like pickleball, basketball, and soccer are complimentary. Other activities such as ping pong and shuffleboard are also available to guests.
Voyager OTS refurbishment 2019 review
Drinks just keep on being poured, without anyone even having to ask. There is no class system onboard; everyone is treated the same, everyone has access to the same facilities and the same restaurants (though top suite classes have priority for multiple specialty restaurant reservations). Seven Seas Voyager is a relaxing ship with a cultured but informal ambiance and a high crew-to-passenger ratio. Crew members are polite, proactive and pleasant; minimal announcements and a lack of queues enhance the feeling of refinement. With the ship's small passenger numbers and spacious public areas, you never feel crowded. You rarely have to stand in line or be frustrated with the wait for a drink.
Our cruise ships are making quite a splash online

Lyft is the only rideshare available in Port of Galveston.” I thought it was odd how Uber was not included. My dad and I have been to Cozumel more times than we care to admit, so all we did was get off the ship, take a few pictures, and then get back onboard to enjoy one of our Diamond Plus drink vouchers. Silent Party is one of my dad’s favorite activities on a Royal Caribbean cruise. I also really enjoy this event because usually between the two channels, I can find music I like (modern pop) and dad can find music he likes (70s and 80s hits). Another thing we noticed was how The Windjammer always seemed to be packed, especially for breakfast. I think this is because there are only three complimentary places to eat on the ship.
The bathroom felt a little more retro than the rest of the cabin because of the color scheme, but it was just fine for our five-night cruise. One of the benefits of upgrading to this cabin was the extra large couch. Nonetheless, it was nice to have another place to sit other than our beds. As implied by its name, our upgraded cabin did indeed feel quite spacious at 211 square feet. Our goal has been to provide our readers with expansive coverage of all aspects of the Royal Caribbean experience.
The helicopter pad, or helipad, is accessible to guests on Voyager Class ships. The helipad can be accessed by walking all the way forward to the ship on the Promenade Deck. This will lead to a flight of stairs which brings you to the helipad. This is a fantastic spot to watch sailaway or relax while onboard.
She is the only Voyager Class ship to offer not only Izumi sushi, but hibachi. Guests can reserve a dining time at Izumi Hibachi, where a chef cooks your meal right in front of you. Navigator of the Seas is also the only ship in Royal Caribbean’s fleet with To Dry For. Giovanni’s Table is a classic Italian restaurant on Royal Caribbean’s ships, with menu highlights including grilled lamb chops, gorgonzola gnocchi, and linguini with clams. Guests sailing on Voyager, Navigator, and Mariner of the Seas can play laser tag onboard.
The view is unparalleled, and so are our emails.
These ships pack plenty of activities every day of the cruise for guests of all ages. The Royal Promenade on Deck 5 stretches from one end of the ship to the other, providing an enjoyable place to stroll and check out the action at the adjoining cafe, bars, shops, and boutiques. There are no windows, but it's always dazzlingly lit up and sets the scene for live bands during the day and dance parties at night. The spacious cabins are all ocean-facing, with balconies, and the ship carries a large number of even bigger (and very popular) premium suites.
(Mariner is getting both the FlowRider and Perfect Storm during a massive refurbishment in March 2018 after spending five years in China.) Adventure is the only ship with the Splashaway Bay water park for kids. The new water park and the duo of waterslides were first introduced on the ships Liberty of the Seas and Harmony of the Seas (Oasis-class). Vessel's godmother was Katarina Witt (notorious figure skater / Playboy model). Fun fact is, that Voyager is the first ever cruise vessel to have an ice-skating rink, rock-climbing wall and Royal Promenade (marble-paved street / approx 3/4 of ship's LOA length).
For United States passengers, flights to the embarkation city and home from the disembarkation city are included in the cruise fare. Flight segments within the U.S. may be coach, but international segments will be business class. If you want to designate your airline or routing, there's an additional fee. On the final evening of the cruise, when everyone is busy packing to go home, the dress code sensibly is "relaxed casual." As you'd expect from a luxury ship, food and drink are abundant, with four restaurants, as well as 24-hour room service. The fact that Voyager offers an all-inclusive experience enhances the onboard social scene, too, because it means there is no debate about whose round it is or an awkward moment at dinner deciding who pays for the wine.
If you don't like being one of the crowd on a large cruise ship, Voyager could be a great choice. The feel is more like that of a luxurious private yacht, with 36 cabins and a sleek, modern design. The ship's furnishings are chic and sophisticated, with a color palate of neutrals and light wood. Higher-tier cabins have large windows, and the lounge and dining room offer wraparound views through picture windows lining the three exterior sides of the spaces. The rock-climbing walls are now on every RCI vessel, and the Ice Skating Rink and other facilities might also be enjoyed fleetwide. The Royal Amplified program has set Voyager Class ships on par with some of the fleet’s newest ships.
As one of the best cruise ships sailing, the Voyager of the Seas offers an abundance of free onboard cruise activities & vacation experiences. All have multiple pools and whirlpools, an ice skating rink, rock climbing wall and mini-golf. All also feature a Royal Promenade where cruisers can enjoy people-watching, have a drink in a pub, stop at the Cafe Promenade for a quick snack or go shopping. When it comes to incredible family vacations, nothing beats a Royal Caribbean cruise.
No matter which destination you choose, you’ll embark on daily discoveries across breathtaking, bucket list coastlines. "We loved the ship and everything about it. We tried all the restaurants and it is difficult to select one as a favorite - as all had exciting menus and sooooo good food - freshly made of high-quality ingredients." Reception offers currency exchange on some occasions -- from U.S. dollars to euros, for example. "We're truly sorry for the impact that this has on your vacation plans," Royal Caribbean said in a statement to guests booked on the now cancelled cruise. Instead of sailing through the Suez Canal, Anthem of the Seas will sail without any passengers around Africa. A rise of attacks since October 2023 on commercial ships in the southern Red Sea and Gulf of Aden by the Houthis has greatly impacted tourism in the area.
Voyager of the Seas has three complimentary dining venues onboard, the Main Dining Room, Windjammer, and Cafe Promenade, and three specialty dining restaurants, including Chops Grille, Giovanni’s Table, and Izumi Japanese Cuisine. Upon arrival at the terminal, we saw a huge line of people waiting to get inside. This was due to the fact that there was a Coast Guard inspection that day, so the entire embarkation process took longer than it normally would. This long line made sense because passengers were not able to board until after the inspection was complete.
